Sorry to hear of Murray's passing. I have a number of memories, but one that springs to mind is a game of pool in the final of the local comp, Colac Bay v the Lodge, Murray and i played each other and the winner would win the final for their team, which he won after a close game, he was stoked and a great night had by all. My condolences to all the families. R.I.P Murray Adrian Wohlers

From the other side of the world,, I send my sincerest condolences to the Dawson family. Though I only had the pleasure of knowing Murray for a short time, he embraced me as a friend. Freely took me on a grand adventure to his favorite place, filling my head with wonderful tales of his time there. Regretfully we weren't able to go on another adventure, a plan to tramp the South Coast Track this past year but he told me I had peaked his interest. Thank you Murray for being you and taking the time to show me your wonderful world. From your friend "Canadian Steve", I shall remember you fondly. Adam, I can't say I shall not be back but if I do, I look forward to seeing you and maybe we can be off on a grand adventure together. Murray, thank you mate!

Sincere condolences Joe, Morgan and Adam and families. A very sad time for now but you will have many great memories. I remember staying at Round Hill and Murray’s knowledge of the old tracks and water races - and he was the school cross country champion over several years. Kind Regards, Steve & Sandra Bickley
