Saying goodbye really hurts. Memories can’t replace your presence. Rest in peace 🕊️

Valued our friendship. Sadly missed. Rest in peace Colin. Regards Jean and Cedric Smith, Australia.
Colin, my Brother, Friend, & Soulmate, you have been an inspiration to me as my older brother, always there doing the right thing, Honest, Truthful, Modest and Strong, a really hard act to follow as your standards were so high. Our bond has lasted a lifetime. Farewell Colin rest in peace.
Colin, your infectious laugh and sparking (if not a little bit cheeky) smile; that's what I choose to remember. A regular fixture at family events and parties, and in the background of every photo; you were gentle and kind, and always ready for a cuddle. To Jill, Paul, Lisa, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren - we feel your loss, we feel your pain, even though deep down we know that Colin is at peace. His gift to you is a treasure trove of memories, bound with love. You will remain in our thoughts and in our hearts forever. Rest easy Col. 💜🤍💜
Sunday, April 20th will forever be etched in our hearts as the day we said goodbye to a truly remarkable man. Dad, you were more than just a father-in-law to me — you were a kind, gentle, and noble soul whose warmth and generosity touched everyone lucky enough to know you. You had a heart full of love, a quiet strength, and a wisdom that brought comfort and guidance to so many. You did your job — and you did it beautifully. As a devoted husband, a loving father, a caring father-in-law, a proud grandfather, and a cherished great-grandfather, you gave your all. You were also a loyal friend to many, always ready with a kind word or helping hand. Your life was a blessing, and your legacy is one of love, integrity, and quiet strength. We are going to miss you so deeply — your stories, your hugs, your gentle voice, and the way you always made us feel safe and loved. Thank you for everything — for the love you gave, the values you lived by, and the family you built with so much pride. I promise to look after Mum, Paul, your grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, just as you would have done. Now it’s time for you to rest. You’ve earned your peace. We will visit you often, talk to you often, and carry you with us in our hearts every single day. Rest peacefully, Dad. You will forever be loved and never forgotten. We love you ❤️❤️❤️
Rest In Peace Poppa..You are the best grandfather to us..We have no chance to meet you in person poppa but you will always inside out heart poppa..We Love you..Poppa will be missed so much..
Popa was more than just a grandfather—he was a source of warmth, kindness, and love in our lives. I remember his gentle heart most clearly during our time in New Zealand. He had a way of making us feel safe and cared for, no matter what was going on in the world around us. He wasn’t loud or boastful, but in his quiet way, he gave so much. Through small acts of love and consistent care, he showed us what it truly means to be family. His kindness was steady, his presence comforting, and his love unconditional. Though he may no longer be with us in the way we wish, his memory lives on in every tender moment we shared, and in the kindness we carry forward because of him. We love you, Popa—and we always will.
