Passed away peacefully on 23rd April 2025 at Edmund Hillary Retirement Village aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Brook. Dearly loved mother of Toni, Mike, and Wendy, and respected mother-in-law of John, Jan, and Grant. Proud grandmother of James, Wren and Sam, Brooke, Gabby and Will, Danielle, and Amelia.

Jennie lived a life of strength, quiet service, and unwavering commitment to those she loved. She was always ready to lend a hand, stand her ground, and support others with resilience and grace. Her quick wit, dry sense of humour, and love of a good laugh brought lightness to every room and will be missed by all who knew her.

A life well lived, with purpose and pride.

A service will be held at Selwyn Church at All Saints, 17 Selwyn Road, Howick on Wednesday 30th April at 1pm. This will be followed by a celebration of Jennie's life at Grangers Taphouse and Kitchen, Half Moon Bay, as per her wishes.
