DYKES, Brenda Dawn (nee Baker). Aged 71, passed away unexpectedly at Auckland Hospital, on 21 April 2025. Deeply loved and cherished wife of Neil, devoted mother, adored grandmother and a dear friend to many. She gave so much to her community and touched the lives of all who knew her. Her absence leaves a profound void in our hearts. She will be sorely missed. A memorial service will be on Thursday, 1st May at 11am, Scotts Funerals, 144a Kerikeri Road, Kerikeri.

So sorry to hear about Brenda. Our thoughts are with you. I still look back on the rallying days with joy. Di just reminded me of the time when the bonnet of the TS16 flew up. Very calmly Brenda stopped, got out "forced" it back down and continued on, in Brenda style. You also look back to our few days together in Keri Keri with fond memories. Neil, if you come across the pond there is always a room for the night here.
Dearest Aunty Brenda, Loved our wonderful Christmas memories together in Wellington - I have one of your famous recipe in my cookbook titled "Aunty Brenda famous Liver pate". You were so kind and caring sharing your wonderful expertise and creating the most amazing graduation dress for me. i still have it today hanging in my wardrobe. I will always remember you. You moved so far away and I miss you everyday, especially at Christmas. We had a great time growing up sharing a bedroom and at the beach at Frankston, Australia
