Will forever miss your smile and your chocolate chip oat cookies. Alec and I always looked forward to visiting you over the school holidays. Your house turned into the cousins play area, lounge into a restaurant for the kids on our rug and a favourite holiday home 🤍 See you later, save a cold one for me xx

You were always such a bright spark and whenever we met, there was always a huge smile. Having recently arrived back from the Middle East, I was keen to show you photos of my time spent with our daughter Andrea and of the night Rhys shouted us a beautiful Thai dinner. Sadly I was too late. My thoughts were with you Jill in your last days. Now you are free.

Jill was a lovely bubbly person, and always bright and cheery and was one of my mums best friends. She would visit mum for a cuppa and a chat often and I loved listening to their conversations and sharing of their lives. Her vibrant energy and voice lives on in my memory. They shared and supported each other through their life challenges and they were examples of how to live life, with strength and integrity and love. Jill was so proud of her children and grandchildren and we often heard of their accomplishments. We enjoyed many Monday mornings of Tai Chi at Oakura together with mum and we shared a cuppa afterwards. The three friends, Mum, Judy and Jill together again. With heartfelt condolences to Jills family, friends and loved ones, I am sorry I can't be with you today. Judi Lee

Jill was a much loved, long time member of our swimming & surf club. She was a hard working supporter of all club activities, particularly the New Years Day Carnival. Thinking of all the Flavell family. - New Plymouth Old Boys Surf Club Executive & members

So sorry to hear of your passing Jilly. Many wonderful memories of NPOB Surf Club days where you, your kids and grandchildren were almost part of the furniture out at the beach! Condolences to Jane, Rhys, Sue and families. Together with Ike & Annie again. Much love, Julz 🌸
