WRIGHT, Colin Maxwell, Peacefully after a short stay in Southland Hospital, on Monday 21st April 2025. Aged 88 years. Loved husband and friend of Carolyn for the past 65 years. Loved father and father-in-law, friend and pop of Ian and Averil (Townsville), Graeme and Rosemarie, Linley and Rouyden Osment (Cromwell). Jessica, Tina, Xavier and Brooke, Josh and Samara, Nick, Chris, Poppy, and Payton. Respected friend of John (Auckland), Adrian and Rhonda, Braxton and Luca (Auckland). Loved brother-in-law of June and the late George, Ruby and the late Rex, Laurie and Hilary. A loved uncle. Loved Son of the late Laurie and the late Olive Wright. I was so sorry to learn that Colin has passed away. He was such a good friend and workmate to Dad and I have such special memories of our families and other great mates gathering for epic parties and picnics. My thoughts and sympathy are with you Carolyn, Ian, Graeme, Linley and families.
