Greetings Family of Berryman Thinking of you all today at Otumoetai Baptist Church Tauranga as you gather to celebrate Paulines life and her amazing 100 years of life on earth. We give thanks for her warm generous heart and her Christian testimony especially during our years at OBC. Pauline was so engaging so interested in other folk and always available to help to care and to show mercy. As a wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother we honour her memory and her example being so committed to each special role throughout the years... Together with Ken in their appointed positions in the Baptist church life they were professional and more than qualified to humbly serve the people and care for those as their extended family. Pauline was so gifted so talented and her flower arrangements just the very best... Pauline was always classy & so beautifully dressed and a wonderful conversationalist who gave you her full attention and of her wisdom and life's experience. Pauline was much loved much appreciated & valued by so so many and we are so very grateful both Pauline & Ken Berryman came into our lives. We know just where they are right now and we look forward soon to meeting them both once more to celebrate eternity together forever. Much love and respect & thankfulness especially today Terry & Sandra Arnold
To the Berryman family. It was with great sadness to learn of Pauline’s passing. Thank you for allowing me to share her life over the past years, mainly for joining in on her weekly for happy hour. I was never allowed to escape without consuming a glass of white wine! It didn’t matter to her that I had to drive home! She hated to see an empty wine bottle on the table.! She also enjoyed the many biscuits I baked for her. She loved her garden and floral art, Ikebaba and attending to the flowers for church. She was a great floral artist and her talent never ceased to amaze me. It was also a privilege to attend her 100th birthday party in September. John, Diana, Peter and Jill, your mother leaves behind a great legacy and I will miss her immensely. Helen.
