To Kim, Matt and Brooke, I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your lovely mother Sue. She was a lovely lady and love to have a great catch up when I haven’t seen her in years. I recently caught up with Sue when I was out there visiting my relatives. I bumped into her at summerset in Bell Block. I said I remember you but not sure where and then she told me her name and I said I know your daughter. We chatted away and I was telling her of what I was doing and so on. Kim, your mum was a special lady.
Our family will remember spending lots of fun times with Sue & John over the years. They were great friends of my folks - Barbara & Grant Rankine. I remember Sue's big smile, fabulous style, sense of fun and her kind nature. She was always interested in us and our lives and happy to have a big chat. I definitely got the impression that she loved her family immensely. Her passing is a sad loss. Many sympathies & kind wishes from our family to yours, Annemarie, Glen, Leo, Noah Roebuck xx
Dear Sue, What a lovely lady you were for us to have as a neighbour. Always with a smile, even though we knew you missed your loved husband, So glad we met you, and spent time with you Chris and Alan Smith
I had the pleasure of getting to know Susan when she attended ASCOT. She was always polite and caring of others. She loved a joke and her laughter was always heard around the building. Condolences to Susan’s family hold on to special memories. Michele
So sorry to hear of Sue's passing. She would always stop for a chat and catch up. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
A fondly remembered colleague from our Post Office - then Telecom - days, late 80's, on the 2nd floor of the State Insurance Building. Business Sales I think they called us. Sue was a lovely lady, always up for a friendly chat. So saddened to learn of your passing... Chris
Dear Kim & families We were deeply saddened to hear of Sue’s passing. She was such a beautiful lady. Kind, gracious, and an absolute pleasure to work alongside when we built her home 5 years ago. We have very fond memories of that time and of her warmth and care in every interaction. Please know that our thoughts are with you all as you celebrate her life and the special person she was. Our heartfelt sympathy Terry & Mary-Lu Clegg
What a shock to hear of Sue's passing. Our connection goes back a long way with your Uncle Ian Giles being married to Doreen, my late husband Maurice's cousin. He was also Godfather to my son Paul. Your Grandad Jack was also my boss at McKechnies many years ago, so I constantly heard about Sue from when she was a teenager! She was a great talker, especially when she came out to be a temporary teller at Bell Block's TSB. I It was great to reunite with Sue when she came out to live at Summerset. I will miss her smiling face - she loved and joined in the monthly singing here at Summerset. My deepest sympathy to all the family. Gay Harvey Gay Harvey
To Matt, Kylie, Sophia, Eden, Brooke, Kim and families. So sorry to hear of Sue’s passing and thinking of you all at this very sad time. Our families have known each other since the late 70’s when we all lived in Merrilands. Sue and I and 4 or 5 other mums would get together with our kids for a home playgroup and friendship. Then we moved onto school and sporting activities particularly football, a quick catch-up over the counter at TSB Bank and in more recent times meeting up in the park with our grandchildren. A full circle friendship. Sue was always so friendly and always had a huge smile. You will all miss Sue dearly. Treasure your lovely memories. Time to rest now Sue and join your beloved John. Lynne, Reg and family
Sincere sympathy to all Sue's family. I have known Sue since the 1960's, later meeting at Parents' Centre, the Cancer Society and other voluntary organisations over the years. She loved to have a chat and was a delight to be with. I'm sorry that she didn't have good health at the end, but hope you all have happy memories.
A beautiful lady who was always bright and cheerful. I only met Sue a few times but she always chatted to me like she’d known me a long time. To Kim, Brooke and extended families, Matthew, Kylie, Sophia and Eden, such a big loss for you all. May the memories you have of and with Sue bring you much needed comfort.
