A great deal of admiration and thanks to Judy for her work for Civil Defense Welfare, training for /of members in Manukau City and Districts. during the 1990's, early 2000's Judy was a patient knowlegeble lady who encouraged and trained us well in the practicalities of recording of and caring for percieved stranded citizens in our slip prone district, with at times erratic telecommunication due to hilly terrain. Her major difficulty was getting co-operation from the occupants near the top of the White Tower for "her" outlying teams, different areas of which required different solutions which she understood well. Jock Taylor was our radio man and I was the leader of the Kawakawa Bay CD Team at the time. Judy and Dennis's family you can all be so proud of this beautiful Soul who helped so many folk during her Lifes journey. I am grateful she was part of ours for a few years.
