On Thursday 15th May 2025 at Trinity Home and Hospital Hawera. (8 weeks short of her 102nd birthday) Truly loved wife and best mate of Tom (decd). Very special mum and mum in law of Susan and Eric Pollock, Janet and Pete Moselen, Noel and Lyn, Michael and Anna, and Christopher. Dearly loved “Oshie” of Wade, Scott, Nicole, Hayley, Ashleigh, Cara, Amanda, Bradley, Daniel, Monique, Jacob, Oscar, and Caspar. Very special great grandma to Brodie, Reef, Flynn, Marni, Noah, Hunter, Marlowe, Sienna, Isla, Remi, Lily, Tommy, and George. Loved daughter of the late Evelyn and James Cruickshank, and sister of Gerard, Patricia (Pat), Moyra, Alexander (Sandy), Mary and Ian. A farewell for Shirley will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Victoria Street Hawera, on Tuesday 20th May 2025 at 11:00am. That gorgeous wedding photo brings back memories as I had the privilege of being a flower girl with Moira. I even still have the pearls Shirley gave me to wear at the wedding. Shirley was a good friend to Mum who always asked to go see her when we were down in Hawera on holiday. A lovely lovely lady — RIP Shirley
