Condolences to the Family Mister Parker; it was for me first. Later it was Graham too me and even later became second dad. Great man, hard case. But we had the same blood type and worked really well. Learned a lot from GP. Part of where we stand now came from GP. RIP big friend, I'll take an extra steak on you. Cheers Nimrod Schoonderwoerd Schoonderwoerd The Netherlands

GP, it was so good to catch up with you at the Affco reunion in Cambridge late last year. As many people have said you always had time and an ear for anyone you were involved with. You always provided very sound advice and were a real team player. Thank you for the help you provided me in my early days in the Meat Industry and I will forever be grateful for your advice. To Jan and all the family please accept my sincere condolences. RIP GP

Still so unbelievable to know we will not be seeing you over the fence mowing the lawn, or spraying weeds and stopping for a natter. No more heated discussions over our differing political views and lots of rubbishing each other for them. Years and years of friendship built through life's little interactions. Always there to lend a hand and watch out for each others homes. We will both miss you so much. Sharyn and Hamish

It was of great sadness to learn of GPs passing. He always gave me 100pc support and willing to give advice. Treated everyone with respect. Great sense of humour. One his many quips "Job Tidy " usually when a final decision made was typical and defined him. Our Sincere condolences to Jan and families. Graham will be sadly missed. John and Sharon Livingstone

Graham was a member of NP MenzShed for three years and will be fondly remembered as a helpful guy who willingly contributed to Shed projects and especially as a guy who gave and received cheek to other members with a great sense of humour. Graham donated a carton of steak to our Christmas barbeque each year. The Shed will definitely miss him. Wayne and the Shed membership

First met Graham when I came to work in NZ in 1977 and we have maintained our friendship ever since, but only through FaceTime since I retired and stopped coming to your beautiful country. He had a no nonsense approach to everything he did, and always did what he said he would do. I shall miss his humour and support. Man love, Chris Balaam

Sorry to hear of your sad passing GP. It is unfortunate that I cannot make it to your funeral mate as Lyn my wife has just had a major operation at Waikato Hospital and as a consequence I will be sitting with her thinking of you. I agree with other comments, a very good listener who always had words of wisdom and give of his time to offer them. My son Troy will represent our family on the day. To you Jan and your family our deepest sympathy. RIP GP it was a pleasure and a privilege to have worked with you, known you and been able to call you a mate, Kia kaha.. Gary Lambly

Grahan Parker (GP or Parks). I'll miss him like nothing on earth. GP is the first person I'd call for advice on anything, I called him a lot. He would always get it right, he'd check to see that I had got things sorted and would not let it go untill I did. I'm proud to say I reported to GP for the best part of me working career for 12 years (the best boss a person could have). A Great Man who was always present. Rest in peace GP. Our loving thoughts are with Jan and the family. Mylo, Keryn, Bailey and Abe x
