Warren certainly made a great impression on so much of what happened on the Club of SSME over the past 40 years - with his work on the GLTS, and his input and models of the NZ S-scale Arauatu layout, - as well as his British 00-Scale layout at home. He was also a good bus driver. We will miss talking and working with him at the club and at other outings we combined at. For Pauline and the families of Warren, we wish your best condolences after missing him.

So sorry to read of Warren's passing. I have many good memories of outings with the Jones family. Warren learning to drive in GranPa's Austin car, I do not think the MOT would care to know about that. Long bike rides in the holidays. Warren all ways was the leader. Our deepest thoughts are with Pauline and family, Anthony and family.

Dear Pauline We were so sorry to read of Warren’s passing. It brought back memories of the many fun and happy times we shared all those years ago. We remember with real fondness the laughter and friendship we enjoyed during our working and holiday times together. They were special days. Warren, You were an influential part of my childhood and young adult life, always interested in what I was up to with school, model railways, getting my drivers licence and much more. I have fond memories of spending time with you and other like-minded members of the SSME (particularly the bus tour to Kingston, and the other to Ranfurly). I will treasure our chats and the memories of more recent years at the Model Train show in Invercargill. Pauline and family, please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Warren was special to us all. Rest in peace my friend.

I'll always remembered Warren as not only a quiet model enthusiasts but a good neighbour.

Warren You were a second dad to me growing up. I can’t actually remember a time when you weren’t part of it. Earliest memories in Blenheim that is a long time ago, Family holidays, caravaning So much fun. Just hoping we would get fed after a day of adventures. Rest easy Warren you are loved by many. Xxxx

Warren will be remembered for the many great things he done for our club, including growing the Great Little Train Show into the major attraction that it has become, creating fond memories for the generations of people who have attended. His continued involvement was extensive, never losing interest in club activities, even to the extent of submitting his apology to our 2025 AGM, just before his passing. He will be greatly missed. Pauline and family. I am so sorry to read of Warren’s passing. He was a very dear friend and mentor to me. We loved catching up with you both when you visited in Napier. The years working with Warren in Southland were some of the best times of my career. Our thoughts are with you. Nigel and Kelly.

Deepest condolences on the passing of Warren. Will always remember the days in Blenheim fondly. Warren was a great workmate and colleague, and I was glad to see him in more recent times in Invercargill. Although gone, he will always be remembered.
