Tributes

Not only was Shelagh one of my parents best friends, she was a constant, loving presence in my life. Since I was little, until now as a grown woman,a mother with my own children, she was so kind..always offering warmth and wisdom. The guy Fawkes bonfires, the tennis fun and frivolities, the gorgeous dahlias and agipatntjas? at the end of her drive, always so put together…a visit home was not complete without a visit with Shelagh. And always so grateful that Shelagh and Earl made the effort to stop by and visit us in chicago when they were racing around on one of their adventures. Whether it was her unwavering friendship for my mom, her kindness toward my children and I or the joy she brought to any gathering, her presence was cherished. . Her legacy is one of love and generosity. We hold close the beautiful memories she gave us. Rest peacefully, Shelagh—you will always be in our hearts. Tracey, Jackson and Sachi (chicago) xoxo

Spent so much of my youth at the Braggs where Shelagh treated me like one of her own. Holidays in Whangamata, numerous nights after Brownies, weekends and more. Every time I see a Gladioli I think of her garden and how she had these every year. With Theresa now, much love to all of the family.
