FEEK, Christine June (nee Longstaff)
30 July 1951 – 21 May 2025
Beloved wife of Bernie for 55 years. Loved mother and grandmother of her daughter, sons and grandchildren.
In accordance with Christine’s wishes a private cremation has been held.

My sincere condolences to all the Feek family. Christine was a beautiful lady. R.I.P
To Bernie and family I'm not sure where to start this tribute other than to say thank you Bernie, for sharing Christine with the Athletics 'family' for so many years xo Christine played a HUGE role in Athletics Taranaki for such a long time, not just as the Secretary/Treasurer but also her involvement in the Childrens Committee and the Bell Block Athletic Club. Her contribution to our sport was outstanding, her time given willingly and her work ethic remarkable. Nothing was too much trouble for her. And how grateful we were to have her on our "team" x She always had time for us - whether for a chat or a giggle or just to blow off steam - sometimes all three! She was a wonderful friend and will be sorely missed. Karen Gillum-Green & Rodney Gillum

To Bernie and family, Sorry to hear of Christine's passing. She was a stalwart of the Bell Block Athletic Club when it started.I enjoyed being on the committee with her.Very reliable lady. She will be sadlymissed RIPChristine
To Bernie and Family. It was a shock to see that Christine has passed away. She was the backbone of the Bell Block Athletics for years. We had great times at club meetings as well as all the Club, Taranaki and National children's events. Christine knew how to keep the children interested in competing over many years and encouraged parents to be on the committee, whom gave their all for their children to be involved in the sport. She will be sorely missed around the country. RIP my friend. Carolyn Crow
Dear Bernie & family I read with sadness of Christine's passing. She was a great help to me and others when we first got involved with race walking and the work she did for children's athletics for many years was outstanding. On behalf of the Taranaki Race Walking Club please accept our condolences for your loss of a great lady. Brian O'Shea
To Bernie and all of Christine's family go our deepest sympathy. We spent many hours enjoying her company over the years of involvement with athletics, either at AGM's or competition meetings. Her contribution to children's athletics can not be under-estimated at club, centre or national level. We always enjoyed catching up, maybe it was because she and I seemed to share a bit of an irreverent sense of humour. I remember fondly many of the emails she passed on and still have a good laugh. We are so glad we had the afternoon and evening with you and Christine, a couple of years ago now, when we were in New Plymouth. Take strength from the wonderful memories you will all have of her. The world will be a poorer place without her in it. Rest in peace Christine, your race is run.
Dear Bernie and family. So sorry to hear news of Christine's passing. We know that you will have many happy memories and hope they will be a comfort for you. With love, Max and Diane
