Wow I loved hearing the tributes about Maureen. How she lived a life loving like Jesus did. She was an incredible woman who would always look out for others and put their interests above her own. I also loved all the photos of Maureen- she was such a stunning and beautiful woman! I remember her as a very kind and sweet old lady. Maureen was always smiling, full of wisdom and encouragement. She made the best yummy baking. Us kids from church will always think of her fondly. She was an inspiration to us all, faithful Christ-follower, and a prayer warrior. She was also friends with my grandma. Maureen was loved by many ♡ ✝️ ❤️ 🫶🏽
Fond memories of a beautiful, elegant woman. Such an incredible artistic talent. I will always treasure the magnificent painting of our mum; Pam. Thank you Mo for keeping her spirit alive and watching over me. Our thoughts are with you all. Sending love and hugs, Jax and Tony (Christchurch)
I remember Maureen from the Auckland Revival Centre days and although I did not get to know her very well, her faith was unforgettable. I can’t think of anything better to be remembered for. I also remember Roger and Lisa but as time passed, I got to know Doug and Bronnie well. My thoughts are with you all. Tanya
A memory of Maureen and Nana Aud: In their 70s yet like giggling school girls. "Cuz" this and "Cuz" that. Years of memories passed with a glance, no words needed. I believe they might have epitomized the Bestest Best Friends. Friends over a life time together, family by blood and friends my choice.
Tom and I send our deepest sympathies to you all. Sadly we are unable to attend the memorial service celebrating Maureens -Cuz's - life, we will however watch the link of her service. We grew up as sisters, rather than cousins, in the same street, Palmerston Road Birkenhead, house numbers 9 & 45. We attended the same school until leaving age with zero competition as our temperaments never clashed. We shared many musical evenings with Auntie Alice playing the piano, Uncle Bob singing & my dad on the violin. Cuz & I went to Australia together in 1954 and a year later she was chief bridesmaid, with our special relationship extending throughout our entire adult lives. Cuz also had a special relationship with my brother Allan, with whom she shared many artistic ideals & values, until his untimely death in 1996. Thank you Cuz for all the unforgettable memories experienced throughout our lifetimes. My very special love, rest in peace darling Cuz. Love Audrey and Tom
