The translation went a bit wrong while I wrote my message in Dutch... Next try: I rememeber uncle Gerrit mainly from the family gatherings in Enschede: full of laughter and joy. As a little girl I witnessed the wedding of unle Gerrit and his beautiful, elegant bride (tante) Tilly. Etc.
We saw a beatiful service and a lovely farewell this morning in Dutch time. Nice to see the picures. We wish the familie much strength during this difficult time. Dick and Marilyn
what a beautiful tribute to uncle Gerrit, my father's youngest brother! A laugh and a tear at the photos and how much the brothers looked alike! Lots of love from Mathilde
We watched the service this morning, our time. we were gratefull to be able to participate a little bit this way, New Zealand remains a far away destination for us. Wishing you all peace of mind and strength in the coming weeks and we hope to see some of you early next year. Love from Myriam and Ronald Diedrix-Palma.
Watched the service live, beautiful service, bringing back many memories ( also of my camping trip with them in 1981) Love from Marianna and Brian.
A blessing to watch this live. A great tribute. Ben and Gerry ( ) looked so alike that it brought a smile to my face, with a tear. The last of 4. They are missed. A big hug to Tilly and the family from all of us.
My heartfelt condolences to you Tilly Mark Mariette and your families. Gerry was a loving and caring person. I valued his genuine friendship and the many conversations we had. As you all journey on through life may you know you are surrounded by much love and support. The Lord has called you Gerry to your place at his table. Rest in Peace dear Gerry.
