When I heard the sad news of your passing I started to reminiscence and it brought me comfort as I recalled some precious memories we'd collectively share together. Fun family times at Martins Bay, at your beautiful whare, or celebrating special occasions. Of course life isn't all fun & games and during the more difficult & trying times I admired your strength, resilience and courage to be authentically you. I was appreciative of our deep conversations we would share, where your wisdom, honesty & ability to put things in perspective would give clarity. Although it is difficult to recall the last time we saw each other face to face, it was one of those treasured relationships that time was irrelevant, we would just pick where we left off.
