To Jan and family I was saddened to hear of Peter’s passing. I have fond memories of talking maize with Peter while enjoying a cup of tea ! Also of earlier years as a mechanic in Stfd where I had the pleasure of spending some time repairing the old truck ! Kind regards Alan Bunning and the Pioneer team

Dear Jan, Richard, Sarah & families, Condolences on the loss of Peter. I have very fond memories of working on the farm for Peter around the summer of 2003. He always had plenty of patience with me as I was learning. He took it so well when I broke the tractor! (which we spent a lot of time repairing), and attending Richard’s 21st was a great memory too. I enjoyed having lunches with your family, and being made to feel like I belonged. A really memorable and enjoyable time of my life. Thank you to Peter & your family for this. May Peter rest peacefully. Regards, Richard Stieller

To the Cook Family, I was saddened to read of Peter's passing. He was a classmate of mine through our years at N.P.B.H school. He was a good honest man.

To Jan and family, Thinking of you all as you farewell Peter today. I’ve always thought of him as a very kind, gracious man, he was greatly respected by the Huinga community and will be sadly missed. Kind regards Diane Cook

My outstanding memory of Peter was, shortly after Richard and I had a bad run in with a wasp nest as kids, Pete took us out over the farm one night and torched a wasp nest with a home made flamethrower. Extremely therapeutic! We'll miss you Pete.
