GREEN Tom

Passed away peacefully in the company of family at age 87 on 9 August 2025. Born in New Mills, High Peak, England 28 June 1938.

Tom was a beloved father and father-in law to David, Clare, John and Pia. He delighted in his grandchildren Ro, Sandra, Georgia, Robin and Katie and his great-grandchildren Oliver, Billie, Theodore, Remi, Maika and Nevin, and beloved friend Sheena, each one holding a special place in his heart as they held him in theirs. Tom loved and was cherished by Joan (POPE now deceased), his dear friend and former wife. His family and friends will all hold him close at heart and greatly miss his company and humour. We hope he can now enjoy some well earned peace and quiet.

In accordance with their wishes Tom will be buried next to Joan on November 8 at the beautiful Marsden Valley Cemetery, Nelson NZ when David visits.
