Harvey, Garry Francis. Passed away peacefully on Friday, 10 October 2025, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Heather. Much loved father and father-in-law of Angela and Mario, Shane and Tracey, Joanna and Mark, and Jason, and fur boy Zeb. Treasured Grandad of Jordan, Harrison, Oliver, Olivia, Nathan, Isabella, Jack, Charlotte, Francis, and their special partners Angela, Kate, Hannah, Cooper, Jake, Zoe, Brook and Izzy. Adored Great-Grandad to Isaac, Elliott and Sophia. Always a "can-do" man with a smile right to the end - resourceful, resilient, and deeply loved. We will all miss you. A funeral service to celebrate Garry's life will be held at Dil's Funeral Services, Schnapper Rock, on Thursday, 16 October at 10.00am, followed by refreshments and burial. Garry will be resting at his home until his funeral. Aged 78 Years 10 Months 28 Days

It’s been an honour to have been called Gary’s Friend. Many hours spent chatting and working in the garage. Much love to Heather and Family xx He will be so missed, I’ll raise a ginger beer for him.
Garry will be missed by one and all! He loved his family life, work life and hobbies birds and tinkering in his garage. Always a hug and big smiles. I enjoyed watching the video especially the dancing with Heather who was his world. Those parting words at the end “bye bye” got me teary. Much love whanau x
