My beautiful Mum sadly passed through Heaven's door at midnight Tuesday 3 June 2025. Loved wife of the late Lawrence (Bunty). Mum was my whole life and I miss her so much. "Godspeed my darling" your loving son Christopher. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Lindsay and Ruth, David (deceased) and Cheryl.
A service for Carolyn will be held in the Chapel of Love and Remembrance, Mangere Cemetery, 85 McKenzie Road, Mangere on Monday 9 June at 12 noon.

Carolyn it was a surprise to me that you were moving on, not only because you were, for years, a member of the Auckland Branch of the New Zealand Founders' Society, but also because, distantly, we were related. I hope my Johnston side of the family take notice. You were the one to bring the different sides together. Condolences to your family especially to Christopher who now has to navigate life without his captain.
