Thinking of you on this day. Our thoughts also to all the family. Love Trish xx
Cousin Joe was always good fun, and up for a laugh and mischief; spent great trips with him and our extended families. Susan got to know Joe and Cath through horse riding; he helped break our pony for driving, which was great fun. But we will always remember the Christmas get-togethers we had at grandma Whitaker’s. With all our love and thoughts. George (aka Our Michael), Susan and family
Gary & I first met Joe & Cath when they moved into Merlot Place. We had many social occasions together & Joe's dry wit was always to the fore. They came & stayed with us in Whitianga & enjoyed the fresh fish & we had the pleasure of entertaining their friends & family at the beach. We will always remember you with love & respect. Thinking of you Cath & the family at this sad time.
I first met Joe in 1993, when Liz and I house shared in Nottingham at university. We then saw each other when we used to visit Yorkshire, the first time after Nick's wedding and we stayed for nearly a week! (We travelled from Surrey) Joe was always a kind and generous man. We spent alot of time visiting over the years, and he was always a gracious host. Shared his love of gardening with me too. He will be greatly missed. It was my pleasure to have known him (being one of Liz's best friends). Love to Cath, Liz, Nick and all of his grandchildren both here in the UK and Liz's three. His gentle and generous presence will be greatly missed. Barbara (Babs), Pete and Ben
So sorry to hear you have left us but rest assured your ever present smile will stay with us forever.
I first met Joe when he got engaged to Cath and was a bridesmaid at their wedding. I will remember him with great fondness for his kindness and fun. Rachel, Charles and Edward join with me in sending prayers and condolences to Cath, Nick and Liz and all the family. We are sad not to be with you for the Service celebrating Joe’s life. Rest in Peace, Joe Love, Judy
