Bereavement pānui on behalf of the John whānau regarding the passing of their beloved Paratene Richard John, who sadly passed away on Saturday 7th June 2025. Matua will be laying in state at his whare in Waiwhetu until Tuesday and then will be taken to Waiwhetu Marae for one night. His final service will be held on Wednesday 11th June 2025 followed by a burial at Owhiti urupā.
