To Dorothy’s Family I was saddened and shocked to read of Dorothy’s passing in this weeks Sun Live. I taught with Dorothy at Te Puke Intermediate and we had a great friendship during my time there. She was a lovely person who really cared for her students. Some years later we met up at Otumoetai. Intermediate. My deepest sympathy to Kevin and the family. Heather Hamm

Sending my best wishes to Kevin and the family ♡ Dot had an deep impact on my childhood despite not being family. I only have fond memories of her. Her kindness and hospitality were truely incredible. I hope she knew how much joy she brought us. While it pains me that I can't say goodbye physically, I will be watching online and taking a day to remember those fond memories. I pray that she can rest in peace now.
