Passed away peacefully on 9 June 2025, aged 83 years, at Elmwood Care Suites, with family at her side. Treasured wife of the late Doug, and much-loved Mum of Lynelle and Sheralyn. Sister to Jean, Ken and Doug. Aunty and Great-Aunty to her many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the team at Elmwood for their exceptional care of Mum over the past 18 months. As per Marie's wishes, a small family service will be held at Papatoetoe Chapel, 110 Kolmar Road, Papatoetoe on Monday 16 June at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Marie to Alzheimer's New Zealand would be appreciated.
