To Aaron, Miles and families. We send our condolences and apologies for not being able to attend Marilyn's celebration on Tuesday last. Marilyn and Lewis came into our lives when we first bought in Takapuna 33 years ago as we were near neighbours. They were the very best friends and were continuously cheerful and helpful. Marilyn was one of life's gems - always happy, always positive even through health issues, always willing to pitch in and never critical. Her contribution to North Shore boards and institutions is legendary. She was the very best of people and will leave a big hole in your lives. But, that's as it should be when someone leaves us who has led the very best of lives. With love, Avril and John
