On Friday 14 August 2026, Our Darling mum, Nana, and Great-Nana so sadly passed away, after a short illness at Rhapsody Rest home aged 96.

Much loved wife of the late Bill.

Super cherished and deeply loved Mum and mother-in-law of Pauline and Murray Greig, Carol & Neville Rauner, and Suzy & Errol Barnes (both dec)

Deeply loved and treasured Nana of Kim & Brendan, Shayna & Chris, Shelley & Jason, Craig & Asha (Dec), Melissa (dec), Matthew, and Steven (dec). Adored Great-Nana of Kala, Liam, Shanais, Montana, Jai, Jack, and Ellie.

A service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth on Friday 21 August 2026 at 2pm.
