GILMORE, Dawn Lavinia
Passed away at Hilda Ross Retirement Village, Hamilton on Wednesday, 5 August 2026, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Don, loved mother to Donna and Anne-Marie, and nana to Xanthe.

A memorial service for Dawn will be held at St Francis Church, 92 Mansel Avenue, Hillcrest, Hamilton on Thursday, 27 August at 10.30am. The family would like to invite friends, acquaintances and work colleagues to share in this celebration of Dawn’s life.

Dawn and Don were our mum, Leslie Haworth’s neighbours at Hilda Ross. I remember Dawn’s lovely friendly smile. She was a great neighbour to our mum, particularly thru the COVID times when life could have been lonely for mum living alone. Dawn was always there for a coffee or a wine and a chat or to help out when mum wasn’t feeling great.. She is remembered fondly by our whānau. ♥️
