We have very fond memories of our friend, Russell. He was always warm and calm, a great squash player, Milford Track walker and a family man. A well balanced colleague who managed to share his time between his real interests in gliding and vineyard/winery development in Martinborough and with local friends. Bea Baigent Bill Wakelin

Oh gosh!- I am very sorry to hear of Russells passing... I have wonderful memories of catching up with Russell at the Wilson family reunion a few years ago in Gisborne :-) I have always really appreciated how he would frequently call in over the years and visit my parents in Napier whenever he was passing through. Mum and Dad always enjoyed catching up with him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time Sincerely Raewyn - on behalf of the Newcomb family, Napier
