On July 30th 2026, peacefully at Bupa Parklands Care home, aged 81 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Bryce, loved mother and mother-in-law of Brian and Helen, Andrew and Lisa, and Michael and Elcita, loved grandma of all her grandchildren.

Loved sister of Murray, and Graham.

A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at the The Salvation Army, Christchurch City Corp , 853 Colombo Street, Central City, on Monday August 3rd 2026, at 11am, thereafter private burial.
