It is with great sadness that we share the sudden death of Doug on the 9th June, 2025, aged 69 years. He was a special and much-loved Dad to his sons Benjamin and James; they enjoyed wonderful times as they grew up. Dearly loved son of the late Des and Bea Sherning of Hawkes Bay and brother to Geoff and sister Janne McHardy and her husband John. Treasured Uncle of Katie, Aimee and Sam Sherning and Anna McHardy. Much loved and special partner to Bronwyn Jenkins and her daughters Tamsin and Isla.

Family and friends are invited to a 'Celebration of Doug's Life' at the Hallertau Clevedon, 26 Clevedon-Kawakawa Road, on Thursday 19th June, from 2pm.
