Thank you for all the wonderful memories we shared when we just migrated to Wellington. The long drives, the weekend catch ups, the Christmases we celebrated, and simple moments we spent together as one big extended family. We will always remember your sweet smile, your warm hug, your gentle nature, & your motherly love and affection. Rest in eternal peace Dear Mama Babes 🙏💗

We remember with fond memories when mommy, (and lola) visited my parents when they were in Wellington. Mommy Babes was beaming with pride while telling stories about her children. “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

Your bright smile has a profound impact, and the memories we shared will forever be treasured. I often reminisce about my sleepovers at Phil-Am, where your mom, Tia Ery, would host vibrant gatherings while my papa taught us all how to dance tango and cha-cha that would go late into the night. Those were truly unforgettable moments. I also cherish the memory of visiting you in Wellington with Joey, and it warmed my heart to see that you remained the same kind, gentle, and spirited person I had always known. I'm grateful for the time we spent together during my visit, reminiscing about old times. Ate Baby, you're an incredible woman, and you'll always hold a special place in our hearts. May you now rest peacefully and know that we love you dearly. Nini Mendoza/Pascual

Tita Babes, thank you for your love and care. Knowing you and the rest of the Vasquez family made my move so much easier. I never felt lonely or isolated because of your loving friendship. I will cherish the memories we had celebrating birthdays, eating out, and more eating whenever we think of something to celebrate. Your gentle soul has left a huge impact on me and my family and we are very grateful. We love you!

Tita Baby was so much a part of Ta-ach , just as Papa and Mama Gom were. Her home was a happy place for us , which we often visited after class or whenever there was a birthday (Vicki’s!) or other special occasion to celebrate. And each and every time, Tita Baby was the most welcoming and gracious host to our fun loving bunch! One thing I also remember about Tita Baby is that she was diabetic … and yet she loved to drink Coke, haha! Tita Baby, you can now have all the Coke you want:) Thank you for the memories. Rest in God’s Peace 🙏

Thank you for your kindness and warm heart. Your encouraging words served as light as we went through college and higher learning. Your support and love was constant and unwavering. Thank you for showing us what family should be. Your work is done. Heaven has gained another angel.

Tita Babes, your warm and joyful disposition made our childhood in Philam memorable. I will always remember the time when you would play Stars on 45 and the never ending loop of Christmas songs in the sala of 19 Lipa. I look fondly on those memories because of your cheery and fun energy.

Our Ta-ach group is so fortunate to have Tita Baby in our lives during our time at UP. She was always ready to welcome us at the house at Philam. Her beauty is only surpassed by her kindness and warmth. Thank you for giving us Vicki. May our Blessed Mother welcome you in her loving presence.

The first time I met Tita Babes struck me of her friendly and kind demeanor. We just moved to the house next to where she lives and we hit it off right away. I will miss you Tita Babes but will always remember the times we have known each other.

So kind, thoughtful, joyful. She is not only my tita but a second mother to me. I love you Tita Babes from the bottom of my heart.

I will always remember Tita Baby as a warm and gracious presence during our college years. Thanks to Vicki’s many informal “invitations,” we spent a lot of time at their home, and Tita Baby always made us feel welcome and comfortable. Her kindness made it a place we were always happy to visit. The time we spent there was a regular part of our UP days, and I appreciate the warmth and hospitality she showed us. It is truly meaningful to know that Tita Baby kept each of us in her thoughts, took pleasure in hearing our stories and updates, and felt connected to Ta_ach. She will be remembered with much fondness and gratitude. Rest in peace, Tita Baby.

Tita Baby…It has been almost 40 years since I last saw you but your beautiful smile and big tight hug everytime I come to your house in Philam remains fresh in my mind and will never be forgotten. You always made me feel welcome and your joy is so contagious I feel it no matter what my day brought me at the time. My friendship with Vicki is more than a blessing because of the beautiful and amazing person that you have raised and the way she loves her friends but the blessing is doubled with the love you have shown me and our entire group especially during our college days. We enjoy hearing about you from Vicki and all the stories of fun and laughter as well as tears and pain. Thank you so much for being a “second mom” to us all and for showing me how you are a mother who loves unconditionally and endlessly! My heart breaks that I will never see you again here on earth but your memories will always be treasured in my heart and I look forward to seeing you in heaven!

Tita Babes, I have known you since I was little. You were not just a next door neighbor, you were family to all the kids on Lipa Rd. The lumpia’s, the corn dogs you would so happily prepared for us. They are part of my childhood memories with you. You will be missed, rest in peace Tita. You have raised your children well and they will forever be strong because you had taught them to be. Rest now in the company of family and friends and more so in the hands of our Savior. Love you Tita Babes.

Meeting you in 2005 was such a blessing, Tita Babes. I am so grateful for the many birthdays we spent celebrating together. Right from the start, your warm, gentle nature and lighthearted spirit made me feel completely at home. I always think of the time you asked what I wanted to eat, and you cooked the most delicious kaldereta for me—a small gesture that perfectly captured your deep generosity and care. ❤️ Tita, I will miss you so much. The holidays, our birthdays, and our Christmas Kris Kringle with the girls will never be the same. But one thing remains unchanged: the lasting impact of your love and the beautiful way you made me feel. Rest in peace Tita Babes. I LOVE YOU.

I first met Tita Babes when she brought Caroline to class. Her beauty immediately caught my eye, but it was her gentle spirit and warm, gracious smile that left a lasting impression. Watching the way she lovingly cared for her children made me realize just how blessed my friend Caroline was to have such a kind and devoted mother. Joji and I are grateful to have spent time with you during our visit 9 years ago. We’ll always remember you, Tita.

Rest in peace, Tita Babes. I will always remember your smile and your gentle manner. Your office was our refuge and tambayan as you made us feel welcome. You were always in on our latest happenings , jokes, drama, crushes, etc as you giggled with us in our silliness and high school craziness. I felt your genuine care and kindness and I will never forget you. I will forever be grateful for the friendship of your family. Joji O. YCAP Tambay 1981-1985 UEHS
