RICHARDS, Graeme:
Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Sunday, 12 July 2026, aged 87.
Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Joan. Loved father of Tony and Kirsty. Cherished and adored Poppa of his 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Graeme’s quick wit and humour will be missed by his community. He was a hard worker and a helping hand to many.

A service to celebrate Graeme’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth on Thursday 16 July 2026 at 2pm
In preference to flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice Taranaki.

Uncle G you will be missed. Graeme was the winner of employee of the month on numerous occasions, member of the Baynons Breakers wood splitting team, Awakino yard builders and sheep drenchers Canterbury region. A bloody good bloke.

Deepest sympathy to Joan and family, Graeme was a valued member of the Bell Block & District Lions Club who had served his community for 56 years. He was always willing to help at fundraising activities and rarely missed a meeting. Rest in peace Graeme you will be missed.

Sad to hear of Graeme's passing. He was a really nice guy, and very helpful to our NZMCA Taranaki Area when we had working bees. I enjoyed the many Bowling Safaris that Graeme and Joan helped organize.
