My earliest memory of Lorraine and Dave would have to be when they lived on Racecourse Rd. Mum and Dad would visit, I remember jumping on a bed and breaking it. Lorraine never growled me, was always kind. Lorraine would watch for me as I walked home from Waverley School only half an hour after Mum had deposited me there. I think a quick phone call was made, a discussion about what a bugger of a kid I was and a sympathetic ear as Mum made the long walk back to school with me. Condolences Dave, Ewan and Shona and families. She was a lovely lady and quick to chat in those later years when I seen her.
