Sybil Grace Gardiner passed peacefully at Nth Shore hospital on 23 April, 2026, at the remarkable age of 108 years, 8 months.
Sybil survived her loved husband, Rex.
She was the much loved mother and mother in law of Murray and the late Pam, of Terry, Ken and Jane, and Neil and Helen; special Nana to Christopher, Antony, Richard, Tristan, Alexandra, Toby, Ben, Josh and Jane; and Great Nana to Samantha, Cameron, Vaila, Ivy, Emilia, Jessica, Madeleine, Max and Saskia.
Sybil was treasured by her close friends Pat, Valda and Julie.
A celebration was held on 11 May at the Warkworth RSA where she was a life member.
We will all greatly miss her loving warmth, quick wit, and ready sense of humour.
A long life well lived.
