So sorry to read of Robin´s passing but enjoyed his company and friendship over the years at Gulf Harbour and later. Condolences to the family.
Robin, I will miss you terribly as a friend. Your love of horses and racing was something we shared over a 40 year friendship. We met in the roaring days of New Zealand in the 80s. We flew high together and also crashed together. Your insights and your ability to create a property project from a piece of raw land in your mind was second to none. Your ability to listen and make lasting friendships was unparalleled. I was particularly impressed with your ability to always have a half smoked cigarette and and drink in the closest proximity while engaging in long conversations where you examined an issue from every angle- and never came to a conclusion. You truly were New Zealand’s Clark Gable. Farewell old friend. John and Mary-Anne Sheffield
