Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Whatarangi whānau regarding the passing of their beloved Janice “Moley” Mihi Whatarangi, who sadly passed away on Thursday 19th June 2025, surrounded by her whanau. A devoted mother to her 3 children Miziah Whatarangi, Milan Whatarangi Ormsby and Tawhiao Whatarangi Ormsby, cherished grandmother to her mokopuna Ezariah Ormsby and Arkyeus Whatarangi Ormsby, and a loving daughter, sister, and friend to many. Whaea Janice is currently laying in state at Koraunui Marae, Stokes Valley. The whānau have confirmed the final service will take place on Monday 23rd June at 9am followed by a cremation at Whenua Tapu.
