Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on June 18, 2025, aged 91 years.

Beloved husband and soul mate of Maria for 64 years. Much loved father and father in-law of John, Chris and Theresa. Very much-loved grandfather of Baiden, Annessa, Raquel, Keegan, Travis, and Nicole. Great grandfather to Evie, Arlo, Theodore, Luka, Jonny, Nikolai, and Skyla.  Loved by all his extended family in Holland.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Nelson Hospice for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nelson Tasman Hospice would be gratefully accepted.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Manuka Street, Nelson on Wednesday, June 25, at 11am. For those who are unable to attend the service will be livestreamed via https://www.shoneandshirley.co.nz/tributes where tributes for the family can also be left.
