RANGI – Nelson Francis (Sunrise:  03/02/29 Sunset: 21/01/2026)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his whanau on Wednesday 21 January 2026.
Much loved only son of Rosa Selina Te Maari (Busch) (d) and Frank Harold Rangi (Rangitakaiwaho) (d). Cherished husband of Okirua Myra Rangi (Toka) (d).  Dearly loved father to Anne (d), Paul and Michele, and Diane.  Loved and adored koro to his moko and many moko tuarua.  Respected uncle, brother, cousin and friend to many.
Papa was taken to Papawai Marae Thursday 22 January 2026 and laid in state until Saturday 24 January 2026 and returned to Kawerau.  He will be laid to rest on Sunday 25 January 2026 at the Kawerau Cemetery at 11am followed by a kai.
