Aunty Jennie and Uncle Ian have always played a big part in our lives. I remember spending time with and visiting them both in Warkworth as a child when, at the family get-togethers and exploring their garden. Christmas was always a special time, when they would arrive with the Christmas pudding and hard sauce and other little delicacies. Jennie also joined us on many occasions over the years, celebrating our birthdays, anniversaries, and loved a good BBQ, always arriving with her latest culinary dish. Aunty Jennie has passed but her smile, kindness, love, infectious laugh, her many stories and of course her baking, will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Aunty Jenni. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jenni. So many fond memories from playing in their garden shed as a young girl with my brother and sister before they even built their house on Auckland Road to playing along side her in the Warkworth Brass band spanning many decades. Mum also spent many years with Jenni and Ian in the Ferguson tent at the Waipu Games - Mum being of Clan Ferguson as well, they had lots of laughs. Also Mum and Dad being on many committees with both Jenni and Ian over the years. She was an awesome lady and will be sadly missed by so many people. I am grateful to have known her.
