Peacefully at Summerset on Monday, 2nd February 2026 in his 83rd year. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Janette.

Loved brother of Dian, Gordon and Bill (deceased). Cherished father and father-in-law of Kathryn and Malcolm, David and Julie, Murray and Cherie, Robert and Elin. Loved Grandfather of 6 Grand daughters and his two great grandsons.

 A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth on Thursday 5th February 2026 at 2.00pm, followed by a private family cremation.
