Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday 15th January 2026, aged 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Much loved mum and mother-in-law of David and Robyn (Tasmania), Sylvia and John Pycroft (Hawera), Carol and Roger Stark (Hawera), Royden and Jennifer (Whanganui), and Vascilla and Jason Elliott (Hawera). A treasured nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In keeping with Veronica’s well-organised wishes, a private service has been held.

Condolences to you all. Veronica was my second Mum. Many happy times spent with this family. She treated me as part of her family wether it be at her table or dossed down in a bed (with Carol's chewing gum behind the headboard). A very talented lady who guided me many times with my sewing. You will all miss her greatly.
I remember Veronica as a warm, caring, hardworking woman who was very creative, who loved her family deeply, and loved her garden. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
Nana Vick was the most beautiful, loving and caring great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by us all. I love you Nana Vick ❤️
Nanna was such a strong, amazing woman and taught me so much each time I visited her in New Zealand. To read her poems was just beautiful. She will be deeply missed. Love you Nanna ❤️
