Not able to come down for the Service. Many happy memories of our younger days and me tagging along behind Mike and Ron on their exploits. May your happy memories help you through the days ahead.

Thanks for the livestream! I had the privilege of sailing on boats Mike built in the shed Mike built and learning to sail cherubs and windsurf with Kevin on Maureen's Arnold Nicholls built windsurfers back in the mid 1970's. Mike was supportive, constant, reliable and extremely capable. A man to look up to and to attempt to emulate. I loved it that years after sanding cherub parts there, I later spent time finishing my own boat build in Mikes shed. Condolences to Shelly Bruce and Kevin and extended family. x

Mike always a great friend. Will be very much missed. Loved being involved in anything on the water with Mike. Always the gentleman and competitor. Both Mike and Maureen the perfect duo.

A loyal friend and supporter of our small club in the Bay of Islands. It is safe to say that we were all very fond of Mike. Generally understated, with the exception, out on the race course, on the odd occasion. His memory lives on at the club. On behalf of the Russell Boating Club, sincere condolences to Mikes family.
