Our hearts break knowing that you as a family have lost a loved sister and Dad so close together. I first met Shari when 'The Smith Family' as we nicknamed them when they moved to live in Warkworth. My sister Kirsty now in heaven also, became close friends with Melody and myself friends with Shari. We were so excited to meet two sisters who also were such great friends as well as sisters. I remember when I met Shari that I thought she was shy. However she looked up from under those big brown eyes with a cheeky smile and I realised she never missed a beat! Whilst Melody was Melody Joy and a bubbling Brooke to meet, Shari was Shari Rose which I always remembered because it was just so apt. To meet Shari was to meet a graceful, gracious, exquisite rose that you needed to take the time to stop by. And when you did you found such a depth of spirit, faith, loyalty and kindness. Shari and Graeme will no doubt be catching up in Heaven with Don and Kirsty and others who went ahead of us. Graeme and Shari will be helping prepare your mansions in Heaven and in each of your welcoming parties when we all join them. Shari darling sister in Jesus, it is not goodbye, it is just see you soon. Much love to 'The Smith Family' from 'The Scotts Family'

Grace and comfort in abundance for each of you as you grieve the loss of both Graeme and Shari. May even a small smidgen of the joy, peace, love, and grace that they are basking in now in heaven be felt by each of you until you are all united once again. May you stay in the lap of your Heavenly Father as your heart is restored and healed by His love. Each of you are so tenderly loved and treasured. God's will is never early death, for it is the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but God does promise to work all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. God usually doesn't want our pain, but He won't waste our pain when we lean into His love and allow Him to grow us in that love. I have such fond memories of each of you in Papua New Guinea. God still has incredible plans and purposes for each of you- for all of us! Much love, Julie (and my husband, Ron)

Oh so sad. I came to know the Smith family from the year 1990 and they are always in my heart.Iam always gradeful for the words of encouragements that Pam and late Graeme Smith taught me during my spiritual journey with the Lord years back. Today Iam pleased to know that Shari is with Lord and please be reminded Leighton, Andrew and Melody that Pam and Late Graeme Smith never ever stopped praying for you all during their stay here in savusavu. Be Strong love ones. Psalm 23:4-Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me Prayers Aggie
