Dearest Mellow Family, it is my deepest of sorrows to hear the passing of dear Brian. I shall always have special memories of him.
Hey Brian, You were great to work with. Head down, no ego, understated and very human. We worked with numerous clients together very successfully. I knew that when I moved to Australia our business and clients were in very good hands with you. Feeling very sad and tearful watching your funeral today. We were great buddies. Will miss you big time.
It's been a long time since I sat with Brian on the school bus to Hamilton and even longer when we used to sit and talk at lunchtime at St Joseph's in Morrinsville. Brian, you were kind, funny, clever and intelligent. Much love to those who are hurting with the loss of you.
I was so saddened to hear of Brian's passing. While we drifted in different directions at college (St John's college), we were great friends in Primary School. Brian was the most popular kid in our year group. Everyone wanted to be his friend. He was always good natured, and had a real sense of fun. A passionate rugby player and supporter. He was also a smart kid and excelled in English and maths. Funnily enough, I remember his childhood dream was to be a sports reporter, combining his love of English and sports. He created a huge impression on those around him. He will be missed by many. I'm sorry I can't make it to the funeral in person, but will watch the live stream. Condolences to all his family.
