Helen was a special friend to many, and left an indelible mark on all that she met. In 7th form in particular, our group formed a strong and special life long bond including Catherine and Denise. We were part of the group guilty of dragging her along camping! I was talking with a 4 year younger brother shortly after Helen passed. He had not seen or heard Helen's name in 40 years and instantly recalled what a lovely person she was - her indelible mark in play. Sadly there were some dots in common that Helen and I never connected. I learnt at the funeral that she attended Pukepoto School, which was next to a cousins house. It turns out Helen and my cousin Denise were besties at primary school, including doing sleep overs at each other's places. Apparently Denise’s parents Mel and Colleen bumped into Helen in recent times. Denise and her parents send their condolences as well. RIP Helen and my thoughts will be with you forever Geoff, Sarah and Laura. Take care of each other as I know you will.
