In his 91st year after a long hard fought battle with Alzheimers.
Dearly loved and loving husband of 68 years to Gladys and wide spread family.
Loving Father and Father in Law of Lyndsay (Auck), Josie & Mac (Qld) and Mike & May ( Albany WA).
Loving Grandfather of Daniel, Bec, Kelly, Hayden (deceased) Casey & Nicola.
Loving Great Grandfather of Ruby & Ayla, Bodhi & Mahlia, Charlie & Brodie, Abby, Flynn & Scarlett.
Many thanks to wonderful caring staff past & present at Bupa Hugh Green.
In lieu of flowers donations to Dementia Auckland would be greatly appreciated.

A funeral for Rod will be held at The North Harbour Chapel of Dil’s Funeral Services 185 Schnapper Rock Road Albany on Thursday 03 July at 10.30am

I wil always remember you Uncle Rod with the fondest of memories. With your and granddads passion for boat building and watching the building of your yacht come to life. We had fun times going for trips in the yacht and being tied by rope while we swam to make sure we didn't float away. And, having dinner at your place and the quizz questions you gave us. We were only able to have dessert if we got them right, funny . Love always, and love to all the family xx
Farewell Uncle Rod. I will always treasure the memories of receiving Christmas cards from you and aunty Glad when we were children. Rest in love.
