Passed away peacefully on 24 June 2025, aged 88 years.
Dearly loved wife of Gordon for over 60 years. Loving Mum to Susanne, Michelle, and Warren, Garry and Nicolette. Cherished Mamgu to the joy of her heart — Bhen, Zac, Hope, Max, Carlos, Nikita, and Joel.
A service to celebrate Betty’s life was held at Snells Beach Baptist Church, 400 Mahurangi East Road, Snells Beach, on Saturday, 28 June 2025 at 11:30am. All welcome. The service was livestreamed and a recording can be viewed below.
Our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at Amberlea for the loving care and compassion shown to our Mum.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Now both our mom's are knitting and baking something together. Both so similar, kind and loving, eating chocolate, and giving someone advice in their own special way.
