On Saturday, 1 November 2025, Gil passed away peacefully at Tauranga Hospital aged 83 years. Devoted husband to Kay and treasured father and father-in-law to Murray and Maree; and Stuart. Loved Gubby to his Grandchildren: Katie, Jonathon, Ashley and Sam, and to his Great Grandchildren: Noah, Leo, Lilah, Malachi and Lincoln. At Gil’s request, a private family service has been held.
