Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Falaniko Taiao whānau regarding the passing of their beloved Mum, Grandma & Aunty, Sialataua Falaniko Taiao, who sadly passed away on Monday, 3rd November 2025 in Wellington.

Whaea is currently laying in state at the whanau whare on Hine Road, Wainuiomata, where whanau can pay their respects. On Wednesday 12 November 2025, there will be a 6pm Family Evening Service at the Congregational Christian Church of America Samoa and on Thursday, 13th November 2025, Whaea will be taken to Wainuiomata Marae at 10am where she will remain until the Funeral Service day. Whanau have advised the Funeral Service will take place at the Congregational Christian Church of America Samoa on Friday, 14th November 2025, commencing at 10am. Followed by a 1pm graveside burial service at Taita Cemetery.
